You should try the book “A Constellation of Vital Phenomena” by Anthony Marra. It is about Chechnya and the two wars and how everything started with Stalin. One of the best books I’ve read in the last 10 years. It’s sometimes tough to read but at the end I learned about humans can survive and go forward.
