Enough already.
Woody Allen may be a shitty person, but I don’t believe these accusations for a second. They were investigated at the time and ruled to be unfounded. Mia and Ronan Farrow are engaged in nothing more than a smear campaign.
You mean “Frank Sinatra’s Son Resurrects Sex Abuse Questions.”
Is it ever possible to be this confident about something you haven’t witnessed directly?
Yeah, enough already. He’s a great film maker, just like the wonderful Roman Polanski. It’s all in the distant past, and anyone that brings it up is engaging in a smear campaign. /s
Well, no one has paid any attention to Ronan for over a year, so he’s going to ride this pony out of the barn one more time, hoping to kickstart his lagging career.
Roman Polanski’s actual victim has said enough already and wants the subject dropped. But for some reason that doesn’t matter to people who profess to be so concerned.
That the victim wants to stay far outside of the issue now, does in no way alter what he did, just as the many of the victims of the Catholic clergy just want to move on with their lives in no way alters what the priests did.
What is this doing on Talking Points Memo? Every time Woddy gets an award or opens a movie, Ronan and Mia throw mud. The allegations are not credible and never have been. Yet they continue to be splashed all over the web and media, serving Ronan and Mia’s interests every time.
If a 44 year old person in power raped a 13 year old today, everyone on this site would rake him over the coals–forever–and never in any way say, “well, since she wants the subject dropped, we should as well.”
Looks just like Frank.
Woody is Noah Cross. He raped Dylan and has been gaslighting her for decades.
Actually, Nancy Sinatra confirmed that Frank has a vasectomy a few years before Ronan was born. Frank was also in Hawaii with is wife convalescing from an operation during the time Ronan was conceived. So, no.
They were investigated at the time and ruled to be unfounded.
I don’t know where you got your information from but you could not be more wrong. The prosecuting attorney had more than enough evidence to pursue with criminal proceedings but made the decision to not try the case because of Mia Farrow’s decision to no longer subjugate her daughter to all of the scrutiny. That is not the same as being “unfounded.”
I am an agnostic regarding Dylan’s accounts of what happened when she was small child – but the spectacle of another media war about it is so destructive not only to the immediate parties, but to our culture. I think Ronan believes he is helping avenge his sister – but there is an element of his campaign which seems self-serving and frankly McCarthy-like.
I noticed this in the article linked to: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/my-father-woody-allen-danger-892572
"Amazon paid millions to work with Woody Allen, bankrolling a new series and film. Actors, including some I admire greatly, continue to line up to star in his movies. “It’s not personal,” one once told me. But it hurts my sister every time one of her heroes like Louis C.K., or a star her age, like Miley Cyrus, works with Woody Allen. Personal is exactly what it is — for my sister, and for women everywhere with allegations of sexual assault that have never been vindicated by a conviction.
Tonight, the Cannes Film Festival kicks off with a new Woody Allen film. There will be press conferences and a red-carpet walk by my father and his wife (my sister). He’ll have his stars at his side — Kristen Stewart, Blake Lively, Steve Carell, Jesse Eisenberg. They can trust that the press won’t ask them the tough questions."
He’s Sinatra’s son, and has no proof of anything. His mother is a sociopath, I believe.
You are making this up. Either show a credible link that proves your assertion, or put a sock in it.
Woody Allen may be a shitty person, but I don’t believe these accusations for a second.
Also, I love how you start your argument with the above quote when talking of the man who is currently having sexual relations with his step-daughter.
Its difficult to relate to families who opportunistically court public attention – even if it is negative. Certainly there is sincere pain there – but its a deeper sickness to demand their personal drama be endlessly played out in the public sphere. Its also pretty disgusting to smear other public figures merely because they have professional association with Allen.
