I hear a lot of Republicans saying, “This is not a perfect bill.” So, vote “No” until it’s perfect. Fix it. Make it something that actually does what is being promised. Get rid of the smoke and mirrors and hold it up to the light. Tax reform is too important to leave to hopes and promises and we’ll see what happens…unless you’re a Republican.

He cannot have read the bill. Tax rates go up on the middle class in a few years while the very rich pay very little. He has nothing to lose by voting against this. He is not running again.

Yeah, sorry about that. I of course still think that every ounce of pressure must continue to be applied. I just can’t figure out who the wavering Republicans are at this point, Collins aside. Murkowski, Corker, Flake, McCain are all on board the Tax Scam Express, as far as I can see. They’re not Republicans for nothing.
Though Collins has over the last few days indicated she could swallow the repeal of the individual mandate if two separate health care bills are passed before the end of the year to attempt to contain the damage…
