It isn’t the fact that Price is spending government money on private planes, it’s the fact he has been caught out and the bad publicity is reflecting on tRump.

Why do they need to travel at all? Price doesn’t believe in health care for the masses. Zinke doesn’t believe in protecting our natural resources. Mnuchin doesn’t believe in protecting the American taxpayer. So why are they always traveling somewhere? They have straight-up nine-to-five jobs. Get up. Go to work. Sit at your desk. Make paper airplanes. Go home.

The New York Times reported that Trump was “incensed” by Price’s spending on charter planes, complaining to aides and lamenting that Price’s travel practices do not align with his “drain the swamp” campaign message.
Finally Trump’s people seem to have figured out how to manage leaks so they benefit the President. This is nonsense of course. Trump has already said publicly that “Drain the swamp” was just a phrase someone came up with that played well at rallies, so he kept using it. He has never shown the slightest interest in doing anything to fight corruption (starting with himself of course). He also doesn’t care about the millions it costs taxpayers every time he heads to one of his resorts, why should he care that Price follows his lead? (We know the answer of course: There’s Trump, and then there’s everyone else. If someone else is doing it then Trump isn’t the King, so they need to stop.)
