Who is to judge? Whose mob boss’s son-in-law has not gotten hundreds of millions to prop up their real estate empire, and expects loyalty in return? You don’t bite the hand that is bribing you.

“As media mammoths and top business leaders cancel plans to attend an upcoming investment conference in Saudi Arabia over the disappearance of a Washington Post columnist earlier this month, the Trump administration is digging its heels in.”

What nations are boycotting various diplomatic, trade and commercial events in the United States due to our indiscriminate bombing of Iraqi and Afghan wedding parties, street fairs and field hospitals?

Rumor has it Khashoggi left the embassy and was later shot in the middle of Fifth Avenue, so no big deal.

In his capacity as an enemy of the people journalist, the Saudis did Trumpski a big favor. I mean, it’s not like he was a Fox journalist or anything.

He applied to work at Fox News. Once HR determined he wasn’t a serial rapist with a pronounced affinity for sexually harrassing co-workers he was rejected.

“If more information comes out and changes, we could look at that, but I am planning on going.”

Nobody bonesaw that coming.

Perhaps the Munchkin should ask a few pointed questions before attending. You know, inquiring to the WH exactly what would be the response if, say, he were to not be seen departing the conference.

Would there be any outrage, or just a phone chat inquiry from Jarod? Or is he all on board with the new “well, they are buying things so no biggie” doctrine now in force?

It will be a nice visit for Mnunchin. I wouldn’t expect a lot of protesters at the conference.

You remember when the President of the United States was the most powerful man in the world because the United States was the most powerful country in the world. Saudi kings, Israeli politicians and all sorts of other lesser world leaders paid close attention to the United States and didn’t do what they were told by the President only when they had no choice. I remember the days when the US economy had a cold and the rest of the world developed a fever.

That is what America was like when it was great.

Now we have a President who jumps when Benjamin Netanyahu says jump, snaps too when Vlad Putin says snap too, and worst of all quakes when MBS murders a journalist in Turkey. Hell a damn Saudi prince is running the President and the administration like America is some vassal. How quickly we have sunk in the world.

Well who made it safe for us to all say “Merry Christmas” again???

After those Hebrew lawyers from the ACLU and Obama all made it unsafe…
