Intentional wildfire-setting is often the product of a sexual deviancy. It is almost exclusively perpetrated by males, and some are even caught with their pants down, literally, rubbing one out before the mounting flames. Employing such individuals as firefighters can be cheaper in the long run for society as long as they don’t self-initiate backfires or brush-clearing burns without adequate supervision.

I didn’t get evacuated, but the closest fire was about five miles from my house. Helicopters were dipping into the little pond behind us.
The last person to get caught setting brush fires, got the death penalty. What with investigative techniques getting better all the time, how do these dipshits think they’re going to get away with it?
