I think he has a chance to win that primary. If the AZ GOP is going into full Trumper mode, it would make the most logical sense. The whole GOP campaign is about thumbing their nose at the law. Who does that better than Arpaio?

I agree, Joe should stay in the race to feed his delusions of grandeur. A third place finish in the primaries, even if he can make it to those should shut him up for a while, maybe even till he croaks.

If he loses the primary, given his unlimited fundraising ability from the nutjob base, and his limitless aptitude for the grift, he’ll probably pull a Blankenship and squeeze the rubes for cash while mounting a quixotic “independent” campaign. Let’s hope so. Manchin just fell from the top of the most-endangered Senator list, and Jail-'em Joe could swing Flake’s seat to our side in the general.

Arizona has open primaries, and I should go vote for Pinkie Joe. McSally keeps a low profile and an open campaign chest (and doesn’t care where the filling comes from), and Chemtrails Kelli can sometimes fake the appearance of a not mentally-disturbed person.

But we have a good chance to take the seat, even so.
