Local residents are also incensed the FDA is assuring safe prescription drugs, tormented about the FAA monitoring the safety of commercial air travel and thoroughly pissed off OSHA insists on a safe work environment down at the local plant.

What will the Secret Service do? I’m pretty sure this will not intimidate any of the Presidential detail or the President himself. Showing up with a fully loaded automatic weapon is not generally considered anything other that a threatening act and a show of intimidation. Protests are one thing. Locked and loaded by those not in law enforcement, as a President drives through your town…that’s something else entirely.

Hell, if cities have the ability to move peaceful protesters like those from OWS or those at a party convention to some caged or fenced area to sound off…I can’t see how this example doesn’t qualify for similar if not more serious treatment to protect the President.
