Is this kind of shit still news?
I don’t want to sound cold hearted about this, but is this person doing anything illegal? Arkansas has virtually no laws restricting possession of firearms. If the person was openly carrying it, what’s the problem? This is what Arkansas bargained for, isn’t it?

I don’t live in Arkansas, but Wikipedia publishes the gun laws for the State here:
If this person isn’t a felon or adjudicated mentally unstable, the Arkansas legislature says it’s OK for him/her to openly carry virtually any kind of weapon. Am I wrong?
The post has been updated and he’s apparently sitting in his pickup with an American flag on the back and what appears to be a Gadsden across the hood.

It’s an interesting question: is it illegal to discharge a legally possessed weapon in Arkansas that doesn’t endanger anyone? Didn’t the legislature assume that persons carrying firearms could fire them at some point?
