Trump’s isms - sexism, racism et al - perch on the tip of his tongue at the ready for the needless verbal attack. His quick put down to news reporter Cecilia Vega, as she waited for the mic from Trump’s staffer to be handed to her, was dismissive and transparent in its mal intent.
Vega heard correctly, the President of the United States was insulting her for being present at his presser. And then she dared to ask a question! And she dared to make him wait as she waited for the mic! How dare she!
I’m pretty tired of the Trump imitation President show.

Just to correct an error in this article.
She didn’t say “Excuse me” she said “I’m Sorry”
Only pointing this out cuz the liar in chief and his flying monkeys jump at any chance to that declare their institutional dishonesty on an epic scale is ok cuz a news outlet got a quote wrong or what have you.

The tone and manner in the VIDEO belie anything they try to claim in writing. Utterly. The tone and manner of his voice and delivery in the VIDEO is clearly filled with contempt, dripping with misogynistic undertones and pure venom. He’s aggressively disparaging her, with nasty little digs half muttered under his breath, and doing it on national television. Publicly shaming and disrespecting a female journalist. He got a twofer…
This man is a fucking Nazi. Cruel and evil to the bone. Dangerous as hell. The sooner he rids us of his presence on earth, the better.

She said " Excuse Me?" immediately after he insulted her. She said “I’m sorry” when she was taken totally aback and was flat footed unprepared to be called upon. So no, she said both.
You would think they would have figured this out after the Putin presser transcript debacle.

If you saw the video of this you would know that Ms. Vega was not “surprised” that Trump called on her. Instead, she was looking around trying to find the microphone so she could ask her question, which Trump mischaracterized as “surprise.”

The head of our nation once again sets an example of moral leadership. Combine this and his sympathy for all the young men who may get accused (always wrongfully) of sexual misconduct, and you get a fully rounded picture of his contempt for women.
OT, I just started showing high blood pressure for the first time in my life. My doctor says he would not be surprised if it’s due at least in part to the horrific conditions we’be been experiencing for almost two years. He has lots of patients who are showing the effects of long term stress.

Wow that’s sad but it sounds like you have a kind, compassionate and AWARE doctor. Hope I find one too, as I know mine (blood pressure) isnt too good. I’ve been feeling very stressed and its in large part due hearing the day in/day out buffoonery of what’s going on in this WH.
I’m almost hoping they don’t do something decent anytime soon …
