Not sure about testing limits. Seems that those are already known. The only thing that could be done would be to have a hearing with medical experts to get any real guidance on reasons a court should change. That said, I feel that most conservatives would just agree with the handful of physicians that support their case from a non-medical point of view.
The actual definitions people want to put in play here are actually pretty messy. Like pain and such, it would be hard to establish that sort of thing.
They should make the state legislatures who pass these laws forfeit part or all of their salaries for legal expenses on laws they pass and are taken to court. Why should all the tax payers have to pay when it should only be the political party in control and who voted in the majority for the legislation who should have to pay.
The voters should just be more careful whom they send to their statehouse.
OK, how about 19 weeks and 6 days and 11 hours, the conservative are willing to bend this far, so once again it’s the liberals and the worry wart women holding up progress////////////
Guess this would explain the crowd of anti-abortion protestors around the Women’s Clinic downtown this morning.
A majority of voters have been rendered incapable of thinking outside the Fox. It is a generational pre-existing condition.
These laws aren’t about testing the limits of Roe. They’re about giving courts opportunities to overturn it.
A fertilized frog egg has a beating heart long before it is anything resembling a frog.
These laws appeal to the metaphorical meaning of heart beat and have nothing to do with the the point at which a fetus actually becomes a person.
Abortion should be banned at the point where the fetus has a detectable soul.
There’s $800k the school kids of NDak will never see in their classrooms.
That would allow some republican’s to be killed, as they have no detectable soul even after birth.
Just have a Canadian or Mexican corporation open a chain of women’s health care clinics and then cite NAFTA when anti abortion laws cut into their profits.
