Anti-Choicers will not stop until a decision affects their mistresses. Then suddenly it’s “Wait a minute.”

But, hey, Republicans, especially Ann Romney, claim there is no war on women.

I’m guessing they will appeal, but its touch and go in front of SCOTUS, and a decision upholding there would be devastating as every anti choice state would rush to the same standard. Its time to start organizing the vote ladies and gentlemen who are for choice. This isnt going away until some of these morons are voted out of office.

Be proud, Texas women. And vote. Early, and often!

And, really, that’s the thing here. It’s up to the women of Texas to either stand up to this sh*t en masse OR just acquiese to it. Because male Texas lawmakers will always be able to send their women up to my state of New York to “get rid of it.”

For every numbskull who thinks voting isn’t important, I give you the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. The Fourth Circuit, encompassing, basically, the ACC states, used to be considered a very conservative circuit. And then nature did what nature does and a Democratic president did what Democratic presidents do.

The right wingers burrowed in to the Fifth Circuit aren’t going to be there forever, because Dick Cheney has reserved the blood of America’s remaining unicorns for himself. If one of the GOP klown kar passengers is in the White House when appellate court seats open up, it will only get worse.

Because to them it’s not a war… it’s a mass extermination of free will and the reestablishment of second-class citizenry…

or am I being alarmist…?

First it will go to the 5th Circuit en banc. Unfortunately that circuit has gone from so-so to fairly reactionary thanks to Bush appointments (both Bushes).
