That’s not going to happen. Bernie will never advocate for a single piece of legislation Hillary tries to push through. He will do what he has always done his entire career; either offer up some pie in the sky bill of his own with zero support, or propose a series of amendments that are equally unable to pass, scold everyone else in the Senate for not being as pure as he is, and then at the end of the day, grudgingly vote for the actual bill anyway and claim that shows what a team player he is.
Bernie is, at his core, a professional protester, and there is nothing anyone can ever do to find middle ground with such a person…because any concessions you grant them, they immediately move the goalposts and start protesting again…because protesting is all they know. The notion of getting his hands dirty with the actual sausage making process of passing meaningful legislation? That the antithesis of the professional protester.

My overall impression is that HRC did very well in NJ and Calif. It wasn’t close. One can understand the disappointment and frustrations of the millennials. But why no leadership from Bernie and that shit-stirrer side-kick bobbing and weaving during interviews on tv? I’d like to know why Bernie asked to meet with the President? I am going to watch the President if/when he appears on tv. I’ll be looking for any injuries to his arm!!

The recent spate of posts about republicans trying to jump Trump’s leaky barge has me seriously wondering what’s going to happen at the republican convention. If the leadership can manage to get someone else in there, I think most republicans will cling to the new nominee like a drowning man clings to a life preserver.

A NYT reporter, Amy Chozick, reported she received threatening phone calls saying she was going to be hunted down on the street after merely writing the Times story about the AP call. Put these incidents with the threatening phone calls to the Nevada Democratic chairwoman after that convention there a few weeks ago, and it’s clear many of the Bros are scum and the candidate and his team don’t give a rat’s ass.
