Look, Trump and Co. worked hard, very hard, to acquire the White House. A lot of time, effort, and other people’s money went into that acquisition. If you think they aren’t going to maximize the value of that asset, well, you must be some kind of far left, anti-capitalist, loon.

Man, I read that memo after you posted the link. Do you know the context of the memo? Did Congresswoman Speier have it written by staff members or lawyers and for what purpose? How and why did it get out or published?

Aftergut was a federal prosecutor and chief assistant city attorney of San Francisco. He currently focuses on affirmative litigation and defending cases involving civil rights and democratic norms under attack.
