shame, Trump’s got a racist and sexist, militaristic old coot right next to him and he won’t take full advantage of it…Dysfunctional White House
Oh, goody, it’s Friday, a.k.a., Toddler Tantrum Time.
Wonder what awaits. Hopefully not this:

More and more like an insane 19th century monarch.
Most two year olds don’t like that.
I would like to apologize to all two year olds, for comparing them to…that.
Upon hearing this Rachel Maddow made arrangements to move her Wall of Departure to the Jumbotron at Giants Stadium
And he’s not being told “No” about having another cookie or even banging another porn star … he’s being told “No” about things he does not understand that he wants to do that will damage the country, hurt millions of people economically and health-wise, and cause permanent damage to how our government works.
But to Trump, there is no difference in the type or degree of what he thinks he’s being denied. And there is no difference in the tantrums he throws over it.
Trump was never told “NO” when he was growing up, so this makes perfect sense.
I can’t help but think of something Obama told him at one of their meetings before the inauguration. Obama told Trump to get a good lawyer and take his advice, but I see Trump just has to do it His Way. He hasn’t hoisted with his own petard, he is his own petard. And I still love that that word comes from French, for all those Freedom Fries loving bomb-throwers in the GOP Congress and scattered throughout the DC area.
So what does Trump ignoring his personal Mr. No do? Moar Trade Warz!!!
And due to his need to whine and bully on twitter - the whole world can watch his current meltdown and bout of self-destruction.
The best part is, now that he really, really, really needs a good lawyer, Spanky can’t get one – all self-respecting good lawyers suddenly have to get their nails done or wash their hair.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAhahahahahahahaaaa!
Sorry, just having a little Schadenfreude moment there.
Also during his entire adult life working for a company without shareholders or a Board of Directors. And the Nose Picker FOX Watching Demographic bought the myth that he became a great business success by indulging himself and all his middle brow resentments and prejudices.
He can’t get along with anyone, not even his own family.
[paraphrasing] dotard: the poor person’s impression of a rich person.
All the adults will soon be gone and the spoiled brats will rule the playground.
God help us.
Remember 8 years ago when Republicans posted in every forum on the internet about Obama being a ‘man-child’? In retrospect the early projection of their guy is almost as shocking as Dotard’s old tweets decrying lying, golfing, Obama not working hard etc. And Obama was one of the most intelligent, well spoken, and thoughtful presidents ever. Now look what we have. Seriously fuck these people. They aren’t Americans with different views. Their ignoring and covering for the inept toddler in the oval office is treason.
Or 16th century.
‘Hi! I’m Donald Trump and I act like a two year old. I don’t LIKE being told ‘no’ so I retaliate with trade wars, and sanctions and outrageous tweets! Do not tell me NO!!!’
Not to mention that Obama knew things, and when he didn’t know enough he sought advice and learned. This Wall Street Journal article is stunning in how clear it lays out that Trump is unteachable, untrainable, uninterested in facts, and just goes on his propagandized gut and/or wounded ego - I am going to keep the link handy for future interactions with anyone who indicates that Trump is a strategic thinker/actor and the chaos is part of his bigger brighter strategy.
This may be consequential in the long run. Trump is finally pivoting, but it’s a pivot away from being the guy the establishment GOP was able, uncomfortably, to live with. He lowered taxes, he nominated the justices he was told to, on the whole it was a viable situation. Now, against the establishment’s advice, he’s got a firebreather national security adviser and war looms closer, he’s started a trade war with China that’ll hurt his own base and they know it, he’s steering the GOP into an electoral debacle, and the pace of scandals quickens for him personally and in his administration. If the establishment thought things would settle down and sort themselves out with this man over time, they were wrong. What do they do now?
