Fiscal conservatives are on vacation until the moment President Warren/Gillibrand/Harris/Klobuchar/etc. proposes a modest paid family leave plan.
“Hey Toto it’s going to be OK, I think we’re in Kansas now.”
“The most important goal of an overhaul is
economic growtha win, ANY win, oh dear G-d I need a win or the midterm blowout’s gonna hit me like Trump’s toupee in a hurricane – the biggest empty suit schlub ever to crater under the weight of his own toothless impotence and blinding uselessness – sweet Jeezus, somebody, anybody, throw me a bone!”
Fixed.
This is an AP story, so they can’t really report what’s going on, only what people say. They even have to act as if trump promising that rates for the rich won’t go down means rates for the rich won’t go down.
“It’s trumptown, boss.”
Less tax income equals no change in the debt…have I got that right? Why does Ryanspeak remind me of these guys?:
Ryan promises that he will never get it right the first time and then continue getting wrong as long as he is in office.
Great photo–Shows off that dead-eyed, granny starving visage to its best advantage.
“We want pro-growth tax reform that will get the economy going, that will get people back to work, that will give middle-income taxpayers a tax cut and that will put American businesses in a better competitive playing field so that we keep American businesses in America,”
- The economy is already going. That’s not the problem.
- We are pretty much at full employment. That’s not the problem.
- American businesses that leave America are not American. That’s not the problem.
- People who are benefitting most from the American economy are greedy shits. That’s a problem. You, Paul. You and your cult of selfishness are a fucking problem.
They’re tax CUTS, so they can’t add to the deficit! Cuts can’t add to anything because they are CUTS!! Duh.
Oh well, so much for conservative “principles.” Bwahahahaha! What hypocrites!!!
We already know they have no principles, but especially so on the debt. The whole reason we have the debt in the first place is because of the same pro growth tax cut they did under Bush the Lesser. And their current plan isn’t even as well thought out. So… profit! *
“House Speaker Paul Ryan backed off months of promises that the Republicans’ tax plan won’t add to the nation’s ballooning deficit, declaring Wednesday in an AP Newsmaker interview that the most important goal of an overhaul is economic growth.”
Hey, that’s okay! Your plan won’t accomplish that, either (see, the last 35 years).
GOP = Losers. 2018 can’t happen soon enough.
