We could essentially call his false declarations, “Fake News”, right? Which, tying into a related report on TPM today, makes him “the enemy”. Fake News (and those who promote it) are the enemy, he says.

I’m really getting the sense that this was how Trump got attention from his father. Said stupid things, told lies, got himself in trouble, because even bad attention is still “attention”… there is real science that defines that kind of behavior.
In any case, why would we expect him to be more honest, knowledgeable or moderate? He is who he is, and the sooner we are rid of him, the better.

Over fifty years ago I was one of four Americans in the European art school I attended. We were all constantly asked about the Vietnam War and would we be giving up our citizenship because of it. Every one of us was against the war, but we still got an earful from our fellow students.
I’m guessing that American art students in Europe now are getting all kinds of questions about Donald Trump.
What is ultimately amazing is that our Fake President Trump has the balls to constantly accuse the media of reporting “fake news” when he is the “Fake-News-Reporter-in-Chief.”
But what is truly amazing is the great number of our fellow citizens who actually believe him.
The tragedy of all this is that between Drumpf, his cronies, and the Russians, a majority of Americans will stop believing anything they hear or read, regardless of source. And that will spell the end of the United States of America.

It isn’t like his supporters who are sane have not known for years that Trump is truth challenged. Why should he stop lying when he is not held accountable for it by his supporters who believe the same “alternate facts” and conspiracy theories pushed by the likes of Breitbart and Bannon? After all, the very origin of Trump’s appeal was the birther conspiracy he championed.
