Here’s one that the AP missed:
TRUMP: “This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course — not even close.”
THE FACTS: Bill Clinton had absolutely nothing to do with any of the following Chiselin’ Trump boasts.
- “I’ve gotta use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her.”
- “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.”
- “And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything. ”
Not exactly Harry Truman.
I once ended up with a new boss (exec VP, heavily leveraged) who was VERY much like Trump in the credit/blame area. He was the biggest asshole I had ever worked for, and I resigned after giving it my best for a few months. I turned out to have been the first of many to leave before the board finally sacked the jerk. He wasn’t fired over the resignations; it was because his actual accomplishments were zero.
Trump is motivated by amassing wealth, usually by using other peoples’ resources to do so. Most of his statements fall into three categories (with occasional overlap):
Distract - bring up something else to take attention away from his failures
Deflect - blame someone else for what he did
Demean - belittle someone or something else to make himself feel more important
This is a very silly article. One example? The section about the “MS-13” gangs completely ignores the fact that Obama time-traveled back to the eighties to encourage their formation. You’d think the AP would have done its homework on this one!
Indeed. In fact, apparently Obama has more authority and accomplishments now he that is no longer in office than little Donnie, since he apparently still ruins Donnie’s wonderful agenda… " Who knew how complicated/hard it is to keep your predecessor from continuing to run the country? Nobody, really, believe me!"
Everyone around the world knows Trump isn’t to be trusted! His mood swings constantly, and it’s hard keeping up with an undisciplined individual!
In fairness, it was an easy mistake to make. They were more focused on Obama’s using that machine to:
A) Create Hurricane Katrina
B) Get Hitler elected
C) Push that iceberg into the Titanic, and
D) Provide the gun to John Wilkes Booth (which was all part of another of Obama’s “false flag” ops, trying to get the 2nd Amendment repealed so he could take away our guns)
The MS-13 gangs, while mildly important, were much lower priority.
