Cleveland is another example of how it doesn’t make any difference if the City Mayor and Police Chief are white or not when it comes to police brutality. In Cleveland both Mayor and Police Chief are African American yet the issues we have seen before, Ferguson and other places come to mind, are exactly the same. Maybe it’s time for some people to stop making excuses for the behavior of thugs and looters.
And they say thins will have changed when they stop changing. This how it always is. A foot in the door…then the rest of you. Then you take over the joint. Then you get your ass thrown out.
This was a predictable event. Foot in the door police excess that led to full blown militarization and and “us versus them” mentality. Dead kids all over the place. Then they get their asses kicked for it all. But it will be back.
