AP…and the ghost of Ron Fournier.
Moving on…
Re: that Wemple tweet
AP was better off in getting only 90% of the ‘whacks’. Now they’ll get all of them.
Using ‘AP’ and ‘Fact’ in the same sentence is where this went wrong.
Really?
So if the kidnapper kills the hostage it is equally the fault of those who don’t pay the ransom?
Tango! Have you ever seen the tango? There is no way the Dems. would try to do a tango with this POS.
Dear AP: The image of donald trump doing the tango hurts my brain.
Nancy Pelosi would be fun to watch.
It just occurred to be that the AP will be where SHS resurfaces…
She would fit in without missing a beat…
EWwwwwwwwwww. Imagine cuddling up to that tub of lard. Just gross.
Now, Obama…that’s a man to dance a tango with!
(Of course, only if Michelle was good with it! )
It takes two to make a kidnapping. The kidnapper and the victim who failed to get away. --‘AP Logic’
It’s a dance I totally admire and took a stab at maybe 6 years. OMG it is so difficult but as I said to someone recently if you got to dance with one of the instructors you totally looked like you knew what you were doing. With your partner, that knew what you did, yikes!
“It takes two to tango,” read a tweet from the AP’s Politics account late Tuesday.
“If only Dems hadn’t dressed so provocatively, or stayed out so late, or allowed Trump to be alone with them…”
But on this shutdown, Trump is dancing alone.
And unlike ACO, Donald’s a white man and …well you know…
Yes, AP has sucked ever since Ron Fornicator chopped off its head and shit down its neck…
“Technically correct, the best kind of correct” should have been left on the screen with Futurama.
I have little more patience for those who intentionally mislead with facts than for those who willfully lie. If after your 'splainer the audience is less well informed than they were before, you suck at your job. AP, you sucked at this job.
“It takes two to tango” usually means that cooperation is necessary to achieve something. This is the opposite (contrapositive) situation: it only takes one to not tango. One person can unilaterally guarantee non-cooperation.
I also tire of the argument that when two parties are on opposite sides of an issue, the correct way forward is to split the difference. Trump wants a wall. The Democrats think this is an immoral idea. The “obvious” compromise is to give Trump enough money to build part of the wall. Part of a wall doesn’t even work!
Among the youths (okay maybe just me), this is known as Argument by South Park. Identify two ends of a spectrum as extreme (they don’t both have to be, just identify them as such), declare both ends are absurd, declare that the exact middle is the sensible middle ground.
JFC, AP. What does it take for you to drop this tired, predictable both-siderism bullshit?
I mean, does the president have to literally claim he’s at fault for the shutdown? A few weeks ago? In his office, on teevee? Would that do it?
