Oooooooh, that’s not gonna sit well with Current Occupant, having to endure that uppity little brown girl looking through his stuff.

And best of all, she’s intimidation-proof. Just what we need right now.

I hope they bring the pain. This generation has to break the mold as the current path of political grift is just unsustainable.

Creative destruction por favor.

AOC, Tlaib, Pressley and Khanna are just the kind of people doing just the kinds of things that John Lewis has encouraged and done his entire life. He gave the commencement address at my son’s graduation a few years ago. His repeated phrase was “Get in the way” … of injustice, of corruption, of those who would hurt others, of misuse of power.

This is poetic justice on a grand scale. I think she is going to make Spanky lose a lot of sleep and she is a master of using social media so everything he throws at her will fly back in his face.

Right, and it is time to get rough when the Repugs are pissing on the Dems legs.

By the time Rashida, Ayanna and AOC are through with him “Bring The Pain” will be what Donnie begs for. These women aren’t afraid to use their oversight power, and they will have no mercy when calling out Trump lackeys’ lies.

Kirstjen, you’re up, sweet cheeks.

They are already making good trouble. May it continue to be glorious.

I’m thinking more of all the old white agency directors, and one blonde, blued-eyed bitch better be concerned about the decisions they’ve made and policies they’ve enacted.

Republicans are freaking out and having a fit over this. So is the MSM from what I can tell.

I love it. We need Democrats who throw leather. If they keep this up I will begin to give Democrats money again.

Fine for her but I hope she does not become the face of the Democratic Party. Too much, too soon and entirely too much publicity.

Why not? This is the drivel that keeps Dems on the defensive and prevents real activism and change. “Oh, dear me! She hasn’t paid her dues or served sufficient time to have more than a token seat at the table! The horror!” If she advances good, progressive ideals, makes solid policy proposals and does so with real energy, wtf is the problem? And, I might add, the publicity is largely not of her own making but that it comes to her is an argument IN FAVOR of her being (a, not the) face of the party. Get over your paternalism.

On the contrary, I hope she stays the same but isn’t the only one. We need at least five more just like her, out loudly in public.

Messaging is the Democrats’ biggest problem and here someone is doing someone about it, and people are still tearing her down. Funny how people liked Anthony Weiner and Alan Grayson when they did the same things.

I disagree and as a long time Democrat it is my right. I hope she does not become the face of the party. This is from someone who grew up in the same housing project where Ms. Ocasio spent her first five years and knows the people of the Bronx as well as she.

No one ever suggested you don’t have the right to express a wrongheaded opinion even if its based, in part, on the strange belief that your personal geographic experience elevates the value of those opinions in this context. Feel free. That said, i’ll similarly stick by my opinion that the approach undertaken by the Democratic Party over the past 20 years or so is, in no small part, why we are enduring the current crisis of governance.

If that is how you address a fellow democrat look for the party get smaller not bigger. Biased?
