Discussion for article #240712
She’s a liar. So what else is new?
Opponents of women’s choice can’t win the argument fair and square, so they lie about it. Seems to be a pattern here.
Bottom line…it wasnt there. Carly Fiorina needs to think twice before calling Hillary a liar (which of course she cant prove) when in fact she is a liar and there IS proof.
There are multiple outrages here:
That people are cynically lying in the name of ethical behavior.
That Fiorina did not seem to understand that she was being duped,
and doubled down with Stephanopoulos, rather than question her
own spreading of untruth. Watch the force with which she delivers
the challenge to Hillary & Obama…she acts so damned sure of herself…
though she’s absolutely wrong…and dumb people tend to be impressed
by forceful speakers
And the worst part, that the media declared her the winner, based largely
on her easy-to-disprove untruth…so many people will assume that
what she so forcefully declared was true. Making the country dumber.
Has Carly ever seen Independence Day? If so, she is further disqualified from office: she might think we have been attacked, and launch the missiles.
Truthiness.
I read the text of Fiorina’s statements at the debate, and was disgusted to learn that she kidnapped somebody’s cat for ransom.
Check for yourself. Every letter is in her statements.
Seriously, sue for libel and defamation. The GOP candidates and others are making distinct non-factual, slanderous statements on a national level.
Sue for damages or at a minimum, a clear, very public apology and retraction.
Finally, someone did the work a journalist should do. Thank-you.
Someone once said that lying will give you a long face. Now, I believe it.
Damn – how convoluted! Thank you Tierney Sneed for your work on this subject. Much appreciated.
Mrs. Fiorina, will you please clarify what the hell it is you “saw” with what it is you initially stated and subsequently stood by? No, well, I didn’t think so you liar.
Mrs. Fiorina: “Ouch!”
Carly Lie-orina
Carly Lie-orina
Carly Lie-orina
What a disingenuous dame
She spreads lies to inflame
As a Shakespeare would say,
She stomps hard on any truth in her way.
Carly Lie-orina

If you prefer Trump’s exclamation
On who brought up the P. Parenthood prevarication
Then repeat after him without hesitation:
She’s such a disgrace,
And Oh My that face!
In other words, she lied. She “won” the debate, in part, for her passionate lying. Just another POS GOPer.
AAAAARRRRGGGHHH! Now the Bitch (!) is stepping into MY territory! Harm one hair on that kitty’s body and your name will be land fill, you lying sack of skin who thinks nothing of pink-slipping 30K Americans and having their health insurance canceled even when many of them were in the middle of treatment for chronic and debilitating diseases … like cancer, Mrs. Fiorina – with which, you are intimately aware … except YOU made out like a professional thief, what with your $30Million-Plus golden parachute. You people make me sick – I wish I could personally vomit on you.
Uh, duh-that’s because they DON’T EXIST!
TPM has its click-bait, but I’ll say this: If “journalism” is to be saved and brought back to being anything close to the “Fourth Estate” of years past, it will be due largely in part of organizations like TPM and journalists just like Tierney Sneed of TPM and others like Sarah Kliff of Vox.
Thank you, Ms. Sneed and Josh, for TPM.
She was also riding with Brian Williams on that helicopter in Iraq when he said it was fired upon. Just ask her. She will swear on a stake of bibles that she’s saw what she saw. The fact that her staff is so incompetent and can’t find it is not her problem.
Of course she can’t point to the scene. Sheesh, we all know reality has a liberal bias, just ask Carly about her time at HP.
Sadly, even this definitive exercise won’t stop the lunkheads in the GOP from making similar claims every time they get on the Planned Parenthood rant. They have found that lying is very effective, especially when preaching to the choir, because the lies are met with solemn nods of approval from the audience. Unlike the situation in A Few Good Men, where Col. Jessup felt that Lt. Kaffee couldn’t handle the truth, today’s GOPer simply doesn’t want the truth. The truth is complicated. The truth is messy. The truth has shades of gray, more than 50 in fact, and today’s Republican is not comfortable with anything but a scorched-earth, polarized black & white landscape. There’s good, there’s bad, and there’s nothing in between, so don’t bother me with unequivocated truth. Just keep telling me what I want to hear.
