It’s been obvious to me for years that the real objective of the “pro-life” movement was the reversal of Griswold v. Connecticut, not just Roe v. Wade. The Catholic faction’s objective is to end contraception, but the the thing that really offends the protestant fundies is the idea that the government (when run by Republicans) can’t regulate people’s private, and particularly their sexual, conduct.
