Discussion for article #222382

Proving that gun fetishists are not restricted by gender–though it ofter seems that way.

Because: FREEEEEEEEEEEDUMB!

“Nothing is more conservative than guns and hating Obamacare…”

Well, hating people who aren’t white and straight is right up there too, y’know.

or, you could just cut out the middle(wo)man and shoot those who have obtained health insurance via ACA.

Because FREEDOM and pro-life, also, too.

You would think the folks that make these campy, tacky and trite ads would have their act together given how long they have been doing it.

In the ad Ernst is winking as she takes aim. Only amateurs do that. Experienced shooters do not shut an eye while aiming anymore than an experienced microscopist winks when looking through a monocular scope. I doubt she has ever used a weapon in the past.

This was someone’s idea of what was cool but its rankly corny and poorly done.

Members of the Tribe of the Gun only notice such things when the gun-brandisher is deemed a liberal.

I guess they deleted the part where she said “Mine’s bigger’n yours, wimp.”

Can someone explain to me why this shouldn’t warrant a visit from the Secret Service? Interestingly, she doesn’t cite the “Affordable Care Act” as the thing she wants to blow away with her hand-held Freedom Machine. It’s the thing with “Obama” in the name.
This crap has just gone too far. Not just with this. And not just with Cliven Bundy. We’ve seen this since Day 1 of the current administration, and the fact that no one in the GOP will speak out against it tells you what a gutter party they’ve become.
Let me guess. Ten years ago, this woman was burning Dixie Chicks albums, putting magnetic ribbons on her car and telling people that any criticism of the President during a time of war was treason and gave “aid and comfort to the enemy.”

wow, it must be election year…GOP bringing out all the nuts so early…ask the GOPer’s what they are for…crickets…ask what their ideas are to improve healthcare…crickets…ask where is the jobs bill…Benghazi !!! bingo

Typical…It’s so sad to see this craven spectacle repeated. The only way they know how to project toughness is to whip out a gun. That’s because these dipshits don’t know any other way to really be tough without them. And you wonder why kids who have been bullied are pulling out guns in schools. Look at their role-models. Puts a whole new meaning into the title of “Civil Servant” doesn’t it? Nothing could be farther from civility than having to whip out a fucking gun to make your point.

One can only hope that Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are sent a video of the ad. This campaign ad is so over the top, I would sooner believe it was a comedy skit, and not an actual campaign ad. Apparently there is no bounds to the GOP lunacy.

She sure wasn’t hunting deer or elk with her firearms I would bet.

Geez, Joni, why not use a machine gun and fire directly at all those millions of people who suddenly have health insurance for the first time. Kill, Joni, kill.

Maybe she’ll vote to repeal it!

For the…how many times would that be now? I’ve lost count. I think right now it’s 63?

Course that was a pre-shot target. In the real ad, Joni missed it by a country mile.

In the wake of the latest Gallup poll which puts the percentage of uninsured citizens at its lowest level since 2008, and given the complete absence of a viable healthcare alternative from the GOP, this twisted bitch is, in effect, targeting for death the millions of newly insured Americans.

That’s a powerful campaign strategy!

Well, you know, the reason it hasn’t worked so far is because it hasn’t been repealed HARD enough. But this crazy woman will totally do it as hard and long as it takes.
