So, farmers going on welfare. Itâs come to that.
Can we add a work requirement plus a brain-deadening bureaucracy, maybe the Farmerâs Welfare Administration? Will Ben Carson lead the agency? Will farmers have to sign an NDA? Will they have to openly pledge as a Republican? Will they have to promise not to sell to democratic nations or âblue statesâ?
Register people to vote. Run for office. Get people to the polls.

Only a tiny bit, the Financial Times (UK) had a nice article a few days ago, about how most of it goes to big corporations, which own a large part of the US Agriculture.

OMG no he never thinks things through. All he had to do was stay in the TPP but no. What strikes me though is how you could have assumed it was just meaningless blather when he said our trade deals were so stupid and he would easily renegotiate everything. Most people couldnât have cared less what he did after he was elected. But he starts pulling out of everything, slinging tariffs around, making a multiyear bonfire out of billions in bailout money, and you have to conclude he actually thought he could do this just winging it. It really is challenging to comprehend how stupid he is.

This is interesting. It basically shows that Republicans would have to believe that the GOP is destroying the economy before GOP voters would consider changing their electoral preferences. That is why Democrats have to start saying that Republicans always crash the economy and theyâre doing it again here, crashing US agriculture. âWe could a more efficient and competent job with the economyâ simply wonât change votes.
Two things:
- This is socialism. I Wish Trumps socialist policies were described as such.
- The bankrupting of our small farmers is by design, so that the money the Uber-wealthy received from their tax cuts can be used to buy them up for pennies on the dollar.
