Discussion for article #235332
US needs to disenfranchise people like Ann Coulter by adopting a law where you can’t vote if you’re an asshole.
Here, since you’re obviously illiterate Ann, let me read to you about the constitution says about voting rights. Maybe then you’ll take a big bowl of stfu and go pout in the corner.
Coulter doesn’t seem to realize that if there was a literacy test, the Republicans would lose over 75% of it’s voter base.
Test would eliminate a lot of TeaPub voters…
First question: define literacy.
You don’t want to go around insisting on having well-informed voters, Ann. You really don’t.
Since Fox viewers are measurably less literate on issues. Well, I’m on the fence.
you beat me by <1m Matt
Boy, would that cut into Republican turnout!
Maybe Ann Coulter will say something stupid some other day and we can go another round.
I have some test questions…
Was the TARP enacted under Obama?
Did Obama repeal Glass-Steagall?
Was 9/11 under Clinton’s watch?
Was Saddam behind 9/11?
Are taxes higher under Obama than they were under Reagan?
The wrong answer to any of these questions would disqualify the voter.
Somehow I think if we had literacy test that dear Anne and most of congress would fail!!
Deal.
Here’s the test:
- In which country was Barack Obama born?
- How old is the earth?
- Is climate change real and man-made?
- Are white Christians a persecuted group in America?
- On the attached map, correctly identify Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Yemen.
Teatroll Rosetta Stone: “Democracy is only ‘working’ when WE win.”
Teatroll Rosetta Stone: Literacy test only applies to people who are NOT white, Republican, NRA members.
Staple gun to the lips.
Ann, you’re about the last person who should lecture anyone else on voting.
“Is a completely ignorant voter better for the Democratic Party or the Republican Party? The Democratic Party,”
OMG, SO TRUE!!!
Now, cross-reference it all yourself, you oh-so-educated-and-intelligent and inane douche.
Don’t forget: Which POTUS failed to respond appropriately and effectively to Hurricane Katrina?
(Yes, the majority of GOPers/Teatrolls think that was Obama)
I’d be fine with one multiple choice question about what the First Amendment does and doesn’t cover.
That would take care of the Teabaggers.
