Discussion: Andrew McCabe Is Asking For Immunity To Testify On Clinton Email Probe

You think georgeh is on the far left in his efforts to sow dissonance and confusion amongst us on the Left?

You have confused me; I am befuddled as I thought for sure he was a far right Russian asset with all that talk about bots and trolls commissioned by the Kremlin to sow confusion amongst us which appears to be his forte.

I am unsure now; your post, Erik, has created confusion as to whether george is actually a Leftist or a Right wing Russian asset.

Well done.

Grassley doesn’t want the truth; he wants McCabe to have to publicly plead the 5th. The show must go on…

I second that motion.

Oddly enough, he’s both of those things, often simultaneously.

Mostly, georgeh is a whining infant whose outlook toward Democrats is so relentlessly negative that he makes Eeyore sound like Pollyanna.

@georgeh is a longtime commenter on TPM who has well-defined views and knows how to express them. He’s also not afraid to defend his points, and I respect that.

If anything, he’s a staunch Bernie supporter, very progressive and skeptical of the establishment. Did I get that right, georgeh?

Don’t dis georgeh.

Why not? He always seems to be able to get away with dissing everybody else who doesn’t agree with him.

" His relationship to reality is very different from a normal person’s."

Everything but the ā€œstaunch Bernie supporter.ā€ I like Senator Sanders, and I hope he stays in the Senate, but I prefer that he does not run for President again.

Thanks, @clemmers.

I know. It is unfortunate that nobody in the FBI is ever called to answer for their lawbreaking. I guess we’ll see if McCabe is a villain or not. I think the fact that he feels the need to ask for immunity to testify speaks for itself.

No more than anyone else on this site, when the disagreements are strident and threads run long.

I like hearing the viewpoints of others, even when I disagree, because it makes me think through my stance more thoroughly in order to defend it. Disagreeing with someone is different than dismissing them or degrading them.

So, you believe that georgeh is an American of the extreme Left although his posts are akin to what Russian assets might write into American social media in the service of Putin’s extreme Right wing goal of destroying what the Western world has so far created. Perhaps George’s focus is only to disparage his own country with each post by pointing out its faults and hipocrasies, of which we all surely know and share in his despair when reflecting about the dark moments of our history … but it is unhealthy for us to obsess over it especially at this time when we all need to pull together up and out of this dive before all control of our fate is lost.

If I got you all wrong, george, if you are merely a broken despairing American never intending to further Putin/Trump’s designs, I apologize, but your recent posts could very well have been written by Russian trolls in their concerted effort to fracture the Left’s resolve to restore America’s forward, although sometimes wayward, course which is now at a crossroads having to contend with unabashed entrenching Evil in our government.

Why don’t you ask him yourself instead of launching a demented diatribe no one’s going to read?

georgeh is not a troll. You sound a lot like one, though. I’ll just ignore the rest of your posts.

I had a good laugh, thanks.

I think that if you read and review my posts carefully you will find I avoid personal attacks, ad hominem arguments, name-calling, and dissing other commenters. All my posts are preserved on TPM, and you are welcome to review them. I actually do try to adhere to the TPM Community Guidelines.
