What a collosol failure. Today was the first run of this extended Amtrak line. Methinks there are embarrassing investigations in the near future. Those poor terrified passengers and I-5 drivers. We expect better of our infrastructure.

Yep. Our Senators have been fighting the good fight but you know, the GOPpers only care about the debt and actually fixing the country when the Dems are in power. Otherwise, the money fairy is gonna pay everything off so it doesn’t matter HOW much you run it up.
UPDATE is 3 dead, I-5 closed, emergency medical on scene. We are live streaming from the office. This is just 40 minutes south of the City.
@tena Thank you. Me too. I’m trying not to get myself upset because I know he had court this morning and probably can’t text me back right away. I just can’t remember which court house. I only moved to Olympia a month ago so everything is pretty unfamiliar still which makes this more jarring.
And I really liked taking the train…
3 known fatalities all on the train -so far. Two train cars crashed onto the freeway, one of those cars is destroyed and upside down. Cars on the freeway were hit by the train. At least one car is dangling off the overpass. I-5 S closed indefinitely.

Crash was North of Oly on the S.Bound tracks & crashed into S.bound lanes. He’s probably OK. I hope you hear from him soon.xo
Just heard from him! He’s fine. Was in court. 
That’s good to know. My people would have been going north if they’d been on I5.
