I suppose this goes without saying but we really don’t want some kind of FBI siege of the place. It will just give these people another thing to cry about in their crazy, right-wing, conspiracy meetings and internet forums. You can hear it already, “This is just like Ruby Ridge and Waco.” I say ignore them and they will eventually get bored and leave. When they do, arrest them.

If the FBI does not want to uphold the law then don’t be selective. If a group of Blacks behaved like this would things go along these lines? Either we uphold the law or we don’t - and disaster will follow. It is hard to set aside the thought that these guys are White and they play by their own rules. As for the locals: do all want this to end? I suspect some of them support Bundy. Otherwise they would have done something: like no shopping, no gas, and no service…

He drove to an airport? In who’s vehicle? If one from the refuge he could’ve been arrested for car theft as another fellow was several days ago in Burns.

The group plans to open the 300-square-mile refuge for cattle this spring.

Since its not theirs to open for any cowpoke or dumbshit this spring, that is one audacious plan they’ve come up with. Let’s hope this bullshit ends long before springtime. At this point, I have my doubts whether it will, or even whether anyone will step in and insist an end to this takeover.

I’m sure he’s got a pick-'em-up truck with all the trimmings. You can afford lots of nice stuff when you don’t pay your bills.

I’m feeling the FBI’s pain right now. They’re trying to negotiate with slow-witted, deeply deluded attention whores who think the world is still ready to flock to their banner. Where’s the common frame of reference? These guys think they’re freedom fighters and probably don’t understand the jeopardy they’re in the way a normal person would, or they wouldn’t be in the situation to begin with. I’m just glad this isn’t my mess to clean up.
