Discussion: American Bar Association Urges Senate To Slow Down On Kavanaugh Votes

Don’t let the ABA fool you. They couldn’t endorse Kav fast enough and did so. Then the shit hit the fan putting them in the uncomfortable position of having endorsed a guy that certainly did what’s alleged of him. Now comes this face saving joke. They’ve NOT pulled their endorsement.

It will, because the media will move onto the next salacious scandal. If they did their jobs, they would be doing stories on environmental damage, gerrymandering, and what the budget deficit actually means to the middle class and the operation of this country.

I know, I couldn’t watch more than 20 seconds of even PBS NewsHour’s coverage and had to change the channel. If I had known how bad things were going to get, I would have gotten so much less het up when W was parsdent.

I think this will rankle much deeper and longer than the Merrick Garland rejection–it’s almost as painful as the election of trump himself. Besides, there are plenty of fascinating, salacious clues for the press to follow and an angry half of the population to read about them. Senator Whitehouse has promised to follow up on the allegations and I think a lot more will come out . . .

All true. Still (says the cynic, uncharacteristically looking for the drop that will make the glass 50.00001% full), if he lost the ABA by even this much…

And this is called playing both ends against the middle.

@rondo And he NEVER would have kneeled during the National Anthem! Believe it.
