Discussion: Amash’s Response To Trump Calling Him A Loser? ‘Okay.’

People are saying he is a hero, not a saint. What is so hard about saying he is showing a tremendous amount of political courage.

I am willing to bet that lots of fire fighters are not the best people, but if they risk their life to save another, I could care less.

I happened to see the redoubtable scholar Norm Ornstein interviewed about Amash. He said he has been following him for a while and noted that whenever he voted on a bill particularly the no votes he would write or tweet his reasoning, something that most others don’t always do. It explains why he throughly read the Muller report and outlined his reasoning.

Hmmmm…it was fun watching Farage get milkshaked yesterday. Maybe Bannon getting hit with a supersized icy concoction (hopefully that stains) is in our near future.

I see this as the start of another GOP suck-in. The GOP will allow enough senators “say” they will support impeachment. This will trigger the house to start the process. When the vote is taken all the GOP senators will toe the party line. This will leave the house with egg on their face. Then GOP victory in 2020.

In Europe, many of the “GOP style” political parties are also royalists. That is where the USA GOP is now. They are in the midst of an endgame to coronate King Bankrupt. After that, it is Republic of Gilead all the way.

And this should be stressed as much as possible. They are abject cowards with a very low political I.Q.

Trumpism is unsustainable. Why not ditch it NOW?

There are a number of GOPers who have had positions in the government and who are not abject idiots…people who are waiting for the dam to break. But it takes someone (like Amash) who is IN the government.

Present-day, actual pols carry much more weight than former (or soon to be former) politicos

And might I add that Bill Weld, who is mounting a primary challenge to Trump should be $$$$$$$$$$ supported…Someone is going to have to turn the GOP off of Trumpism.

A viable, sane GOP is going to have to emerge…or scrapped

It’s already out in book form. Pay attention to the footnotes.

While I’m enjoying the spectacle of this gop rep poking the bear, it’s important to keep in mind that Amash is not an ally. He’s a tea party libertarian weasel.

He’s likely the only elected Republican who has read the entire Mueller report.
