Discussion: AMA To Congress: Don't Repeal Obamacare Without Clear Replacement

But the AMA endorses Dr. Price who vows to end Medicare and Obamacare.

What’s going on here?

Surgeon Rep. Dr. Tom Price, a Republican congressman from Georgia, is to lead HHS.

Good for you, AMA!

I hope we hear in the coming days from other medical organizations, and from hospitals and medical practices and from everybody else whose occupation involves health care.

The whole health care industry will be negatively affected: doctors, hospitals, insurance etc. Many of these sectors are rethug bastions and major source of campaign $$. Why aren’t they screaming at Paulie and the turtle?

I guess the AMA can be right about some things, wrong about others.

Don’t praise them. They are only looking for their own interests.

It’s a contradiction, so your statement is pointless.

Translation: “Fuck 'em all real good…but we can’t be seen to have supported it.”

The GOP has had since the early/mid 80s to form a viable health care policy. They have nothing and want all the serfs to enjoy that nothing.

"[W]e believe that before any action is taken through reconciliation or other means that would potentially alter coverage, policymakers should lay out for the American people, in reasonable detail, what will replace current policies.

Because if you do we’re going to lose a shitpot of money.
That’s what it’s all about isn’t it?

Let me help you. The AMA can be wrong in their endorsement of Dr. Price due to his wanting to end Obamacare – but if Obamacare is repealed, right in their position about not repealing Obamacare without a clear replacement.

Price wants to destroy Medicare, so you are no help about the Trump wrecking ball.

They’re purely saying it out of self interest, but it’s self interest that involves the well being of millions so I’m all for it.

My first thought, too.

In this case, if the choice is between “perfect” and “good,” I choose good.

This entire “debate” is a fucking fraud.

JFC.

There are only two viable “replacements” for Obamacare.

  1. Universal medicare or;

  2. Obamacare (which is nationalized Romneycare, aka the “free market conservative plan”, originally birthed in the hallowed halls of the Heritage Foundation.)

They have no plan because they cannot have a plan, as Obamacare is the ONLY FUCKING PLAN that works within the framework of a private health insurance paradigm.

It’s all bullshit. A bunch of fucking bullshit. And we should all be offended for being taken for stupid whenever these taintlickers or their ballwashing media even talk about it.

…and as per usual the House told them ‘We do what we want. We are the biggest badass MFer’s in the Kingdom and we make the laws…whether we know jack sht or not.’

“Patients and other stakeholders should be able to clearly compare current policy to new proposals so they can make informed decisions about whether it represents a step forward in the ongoing process of health reform,…”

I can clear that up for you - A step forward is not the intended result.

The entire Republican House took their own Hypocritcal Oath from Ryan yesterday. Why do doctors think any of these Pharisees would want their professional opinion? None of them vaccinate their children.

Their Republican GOP President-Elect doesn’t believe any of our intelligence agents be they FBI, CIA, NSA or even military. These barbarians know better than the generals, doctors, scientists and even God. Just listen to them speak for Him and their ardent hopes for ending Mankind by either a surprise Trump nuclear war or doing away with medicines, public health measures and now even doctors.

What is their replacement for the ACA…a birdbrain wing and a prayer to a God that would never admit creating them or recognize them as Christian.

Let’s make America sick again. Yeah, that’s the ticket.
