When you have all the power and the self-confidence that comes with knowing that… it’s very easy to put up with this kind of smack talk. Just smile and say, “ok. Are you done yet?” or “OK, we’re done here.” There’s no need whatsoever to engage. This judge needs to get a grip on himself.

I can remember one where daddy was bonking his son’s wife upstairs in the bedroom after dinner while junior was in the kitchen doing the dishes. Of course excessive drinking was involved. And I think they were both sheriff deputies. Jr. caught them - but no shots were fired. Fist fight broke out. Think the wife got the worst of it just by being in a 10’X10’ bedroom with two her two fat lovers. I’m guessing she was of equal weight but that could be my sexism acting up. And of course there were more details about relatives (did I tell ya it was in a red state) being involved. I couldn’t follow the genealogy and the grammar required to get it right while trying to comment was too much of an effort. And somebody was a part-time Elevation church pastor? I think.
because you have the right to represent yourself… he can’t just toss you out if you don’t have a lawyer and go on with the proceeding… the judge should’ve shown a little more restraint and just waited on the idiot to settle down… all the judge did is prove the old saying…

Absolutely insane, the craziest courtroom exchange I’ve ever heard. I agree with, or at least I’m amused by, many of the other comments.
My two cents is, how is it that with one look at the defendant’s face, you just know he’s going to be big trouble? I’ve had a remarkably violence- and vulgar-threat-free life so far, at least in part by scrupulously avoiding engaging with people who look like that.
Sounds awful, I know, to judge a book by its cover in that way, and I can’t defend it except to say that it has worked for me. He looks to me like what the Brits call a nutter. And apparently a wanker as well.

The judge made a complete fool of himself. The defendant was hilarious – at least before he became homicidal. The judge was an idiot however and he called the guy a queer and told him to jack off etc. That guy is dumber than Trump.
I did not want to read this, but I couldn’t believe the judge actually said the following:
Allen: “You reckon if I let you suck my dick I could get a fair trial here?”
Judge: “Oh, I don’t think so.”
…
Judge: “I don’t think that is going to get you a fair trial unless… you have every one of the jurors do it.”
Is this an actual Judge? Unbelievable that he would let this go on, and on, and provoke the accused.
