Only if I squint really, really hard.

“step over the 51-year-old victim’s body to finish a glass of wine”

Somewhere, a screenwriter is typing as fast as they can.

Innocence and remorse fairly drip from the mugshot.

Expensive prostitutes? Heroin? “his 50-foot yacht, Escape”

Well, he got what he was searching for: the ultimate escape.

I just read elsewhere that he was married and a father of five children, but I guess that wasn’t enough for him. What an idiot.

I feel sorry for his family, and especially his spouse. How do you explain to the kids that “Daddy’s not here any more because he wanted to screw hookers and do smack instead of reading you bedtime stories and helping you with your homework.”

It all sounds like a Steely Dan song.

Another black eye for my beloved Sacramento… :frowning:

Ooops.

Serial.

Makeup can make a big difference and the lighting is obviously not very flattering. From that picture, she looks like she could be Milla Jovovich’s less attractive older sister.

I’m looking forward to this story as an episode of Snapped on Oxygen Network.

Idk, I don’t think viewers would find it very believable. They’d just think it was an unrealistic cliche to show how callous she is.

That’s the problem with entertainment these days, in that life can be too ridiculous to imitate.

My first thought was that I’d already seen it in some Sharon Stone movie.

I’d feel a lot worse if it wasn’t a Google executive.

Where did she get the bruise on her nose I wonder?

A high-end prostitute with a big sore on her nose? I guess that’s from the heroin?

“French Connection,” where the hit man shoots a guy carrying groceries, then breaks off a piece of baguette before he walks away. I didn’t quite buy it then, and we’re more cynical now. So yeah, life is stranger than film.

I think before we judge the real-life woman too harshly for finishing that wine, let’s remember that if the john ODs you can pretty much forget about a tip.
