Which underscores my point. They don’t stand with LGBT equality. They stand in a bank line looking to cash a check.
Standing up for what is right is not punishment. I personally know a golden-glove boxer who ended up not going to the Olympics in 1980. It was the right thing to do then, and is the right thing now.
Indiana clearly has stepped very very deep onto the PR Poop to make the NCAA look like a moral actor in this imbroglio.
In case anyone was interested in sharing their thoughts on UW Chancellor Blank’s weak-tea, false equivalency statement:

In my little Podunk, some years ago there were tee shirts around that said:
London
Paris
(your Podunk here)
Rome
So in that same vein
Brunei
Yemen
Indiana
Uganda
The Rolling Stones are scheduled to play the Indianapolis Speedway on July 4. I think it’s completely inappropriate to celebrate our nation’s birth in a birthplace of hatred like Indiana. I’m calling on the Stones to BoycottIndiana.
Easy to say from the armchair. As the parent of a former student athlete, who was a good kid, worked hard, was honorable, and respected he rights of all people, I would find it very hard to ask him to sit out something so important to him and his team because of some idiots in Indiana. There are other ways to express oneself. Some of these kids are 18 or 19.
A clarification to the law he just signed?? How about start with a full repeal then an executive order condemning the jesus freaks who wrote it?
Totally agree. Never again would be the appropriate action plus re-location of the NCAA headquarters to an out of Indiana location.
Sounds like the Chancellor is one of Walker’s boys.

Why are these games still being played in Indiana?
LOL. Me, too!
Let the stonings begin!
Yeah, my first reaction to her comment was that she pulled her punches because she has a MAJOR battle on her hands to keep Walker from gutting the whole UW operation.
Dear Chancellor Blank of Wisconsin-
The Indiana law does not mirror those of other states. Get your head on straight.
Well of course. It’s a sports team, not an organization that advocates anti-discrimination and equal treatment under the law
