and one of his most persistent.

Adult, psychologically-healthy women are Trump’s kryptonite.
Trump is completely insane. He needs Florida, yet has attacked Alicia Machado relentlessly for days now. She’s photogenic, articulate, and now has him nearly foaming at the mouth with rage.
Alicia, you are now my hero.
This must be the kind of thing political professionals dream about. You drop an anvil on the guy’s head, and then you have hold back the next anvil, because he keeps dropping the first one on his toes.
One of his more frightening traits, but, sadly, one of so many.
It occurs to me that there must be dozens of women with similar stories regarding Trump, if not thousands.
Do you think it’s just by luck that Clinton happened to put forward one with real fire, who was unafraid to fight back against Trump in the public arena?

What about this getaway-driver-in-a-murder thing? Doesn’t change any of Trump’s misdeeds but you’d think it would be mentioned in an article about the accusations against her.
I fully expect someone to undertake making “Citizen Trump” – and we’ll find out more than we ever wanted to know. The source book will be a tell all by one of his kids.

My theory is that, when Trump bought the Miss Universe pageant, he thought he was buying an international, continually refreshed and repopulated harem. They were chattel, property of the pageant and therefore, his property.
When Alicia Machado spoke out against him, Trump reacted as if a person he owned had attacked him.
Not unlike a slave owner, really.
This is the mindset. I’m confident that if this were anyone else, Trump would not be frothing maniacally. But this was his first Miss Universe, and he chose to act as if he owned Machado during that painful year. I’m sure that, at some level, he still feels like he owns her. That explains his crazed tone, the mania that wakes him up in the middle of the night and tells him, “Get that woman under control.”
You want an October surprise? Let’s hear from the next 20 years of Miss Universe contestants. Let’s hear how he treated subsequent contestants and winners. My sense is that Alicia Machado’s story is not an isolated one.
