Donald J. Trump received more Republican primary votes than anyone in the history of the Republican Party. He is a 2016 Republican to the core. He is the chosen leader of our time. This is who Republican voters admire. He is the Republican party.
I have to admit, my first reaction was “Do we really need 2 senators for Alaska?” 
Man, this is the strangest election ever.

But they never said a peep as Trump was making racist remarks all year.
They can go to hell.

Pretty funny when you consider Murkowski could not get the GOP nomination when she ran for reelection in 2010. Joe Miller won the 2010 Alaskan Republican Senate Primary but Murkowski went on to win as a write-in candidate. She should know better than anyone how crazy the Republican base is.
It’s ironic they’re turning Trump into an African American.
He savaged white women (a bridge too far) and so Republicans have to figuratively lynch him.
It isn’t the “statements” he made that are the problem. How many congress-people would survive being recorded when they didn’t know it, and having that made public?
Zero.
The issue here is that he has admitted to being a serial perpetrator of sexual assault.

Unfortunately I think it is a dream. There is a significant faction of the GOP who have said Trump is not really a Republican, let alone a true conservative. They will rally the religious right faction to nominate an evangelical from the Cruz/Pence wing. The boil will not be lanced and the fever broken until the country soundly rejects their attempt to convert the US into a false Xtian theocracy.
