The fund that pays the money is a company owned by the state of Alaska. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaska_Permanent_Fund
My understanding of the payments was WAY off, though. Last year it was $1800 or so, in 2013 it was $900.
Although unrelated - the photo indicates that he uses the same tailor Dennis Hastert used.
I kinda like the look of wearing your sleeves long enough to cover the first knuckle. But that takes, what, a good 4 inches of extra material?
Can anyone explain why Congress is so dysfunctional? With “intellectual giants” like Rep. Young firmly in charge, the future of the republic looks to be in good hands. #NOT

Government freebies? Alaska gets about $3 for every $1 they send to DC. Most of it is spent on infrastructure, education and environment. The Palin grandchild has health insurance through the Tribal Health Service, you know the Feds, and is improved as part of the ACA. Her special needs child has a better existence and is not festering in a fetid facility because the federal government passed some decent laws for their protection and had advocates like the Shrivers and Kennedy’s. Moochers? Death panels?
