Republicans that make outrageous statements or intentionally troll their opponents get attention because they’re good for ratings. I’m not interested in a liberal version of that tactic.

We complain because the GOP has become the party of “No!” and they cannot or will not present any policy proposals to deal with the problems we all face. It’s time for the Democrats to stand up and take a stand. We need leaders willing to call out those who obviously don’t care about the American People, and they need to do more of it! Disclaim and discredit all these idiots, and do so publicly. The time for being nice is over…since we can all see exactly where the actions of the GOP are leading us. Their road to hell isn’t even paved with good intentions.

Hopefully, Grayson has learned a lot from his first run as a firebrand. Losing an election and fighting to win back his seat has hopefully taught him to fight smarter.
I am hoping that, by filing the ethics complaint, he puts the GOP on the defensive. The simple fact that the Benghazi committee has spent 90% of its time focusing on Hillary gives him a prima facie case. I’m dying to watch them explain that.

It is illegal for a member of Congress to use their own office phone, or one single stamp,or paper clip for campaign purposes,but it is OK for The GOP to spend millions on useless committee hearings trying to make Hillary look bad because she is running for president. I don’t think so.

You think lodging an ethics complaint is trolling? Remember, Grayson is an Attorney and knows a bit about this stuff. And, in the second layer of this is the fact that Gowdy is a trail lawyer and scumbag. So is Grayson. That’s why he’s the one to do this.

No I don’t. I’ve already commented that I think this was a good move. There’s no doubt Grayson is an extremely smart cookie. I think he’s calculating, like a good trial lawyer should be, in everything he does but he’s an occasional bomb thrower and very ambitious. I just don’t know if he would be better than Patrick Murphy.

The entire Bengazi committee is obviously an exercise in trolling, Also, virtually every complaint to the Ethics committee goes nowhere, but at least now you have the next counter-smearing line of attack… that the chairman of the committee faces an ethics investigation for this nonsense.

They don’t even have to be that brave. All they have to do is frequently mention that the head of the Benghazi committee has been accused of ethics violations for using the Benghazi committee for political mudslinging.
Assuming McCarthy still wins the Speaker position, you mention that the Republican Speaker of the House has been accused of ethics violations for, etc.

He is my rep I have met him personally and sent him money. The district he was in was predominantly Republican , but due to gerrymandering he got elected. I saw him facedown a room full of Anti- ACA teabaggers and hold his own convincing many to change their tune . Yes sometimes he’s over the top but “The Republican Plan if you get sick : die quickly” will live on as it is still valid today

I guess what I know about Grayson is more his reputation than his substance. I’m under the vague impression that the reputation has more to do with what he says than what he does.

They have committed a crime by misusing their position to try to punish a political rival. I’m sure Hillary is aware of this as she is one of the people who wrote the articles of impeachment.
