Party and career over her kids, country and gender…

No wonder Republicans will vote her in. She has her priorities straight.

Bright argues that he’s the real conservative in the race – and he has a
long track record of fairly conservative policy views. Bright voted
more with Republicans than Democrats on the big issues during his
two-year stint in office, and when he and Roby squared off in 2010 he
ran ads highlighting his votes with the GOP and tried to get to her
right on immigration, accusing her of slow-walking a push to keep local
businesses from hiring undocumented immigrants.

Please tell me no dem voter or org plans to spend money on this asshole.

So there’s no Democrat in the fall election?

That previous comment was snark. The reporter neglected to include information about the Democratic alternative. She’s Tabitha Isner, who won a competitive primary in Alabama CD3. Her background is in public policy and she has said it’s important to get the issues in front of voters, win or lose. Let’s go: 50 state, 435 CD strategy. Compete everywhere! She’s on Act Blue.

“Fair or unfair, a lot of Trump supporters took what she said really personally, as though she had wronged them somehow. The only person who could absolve that in their eyes is Trump himself – and he did,”

This is so sick. They are a cult.

How they can act like this rancid cruel dehumanizing sicko who flaunts his lawlessness and attacks citizens and all the institutions, however flawed they may be, that are country is founded is some holy f*cking flawless god that should only be shown deference and slavish loyalty to lest one “personally” injure his followers can only happen in a cult.

They’re sick, it’s like a virus.

Nice. We need a list with brief summaries of Democrats running. I wish I had time to start one.

Does anyone know of a list? Is this something TPM could do? @cameron_joseph I recall Josh writing a post on this subject, how to identify candidates that don’t get as much press to donate to.

So glad to hear that about the Dem. It’ll take time and effort for any deep-red area to be genuinely competitive, but this has to be a long-term project; it’s when they don’t bother to compete that the right’s able to paint Democrats as literally evil. The party finally seems to get that, as activists have for some time: show up, talk about what you stand for, and let your neighbors actually see you as human – insanely, a real obstacle for Dems in many places. Thanks to Tabitha Isner for entering the fray the way she is.

Oh, AL Republicans, save yourself the stress and worry of deciding. Just stay home and put it all out of your mind.

Revenge politics and tribalism on naked display in Alabama - no surprise there. The only question to be answered in the election is who do you hate the most and how much do you hate them?

Isn’t it sad that they are even questioning which is worse

Dammit! I want to know who Putin is endorsing!

This article reminds me of the scene (I think maybe in “The Wild Bunch”) where the two scorpions are fighting to the death.

Nobody to root for.
