Section 13A-6-23 - Menacing.
(a) A person commits the crime of menacing if, by physical action, he intentionally places or attempts to place another person in fear of imminent serious physical injury.
(b) Menacing is a Class B misdemeanor.

And the reason for the NRA’s apparent brief outbreak of sanity becomes clear. The fact that the NRA walked its statement back within 24 hours won’t keep the AP, in its never ending quest for false balance, from portraying that statement as showing the NRA’s sober, sensible centrism.
Actually yelling fire is protected, only if it causes a riot are you liable, and that’s for causing harm, not the act of speaking. If you yell fire and everyone ignores you, nothing happens.
Federal law trumps state law when you feel like it, and state law trumps federal law when you feel like it, and you don’t have to pay your grazing fees unless you feel like it, and it’s a violation of the First Amendment if there are consequences because you say hateful things when you feel like it, and you can assert any other absolute and untrammeled rights when you feel like it, and anything less is TYRANNY. I think that sums it up.
I believe that I am reasonably in fear for my life when I see an armed person of opposing political persuasion inside a polling place, where I have a perfect legal right to be. Bang.
what I’d really like to know is why do these guys feel so afraid that they have to carry a gun with them at all times?
