Who would have thought that Roy Moore was a Firesign Theater fan. He took the line from ‘Don’t Crush That Dwarf; Hand Me The Pliers’, “It’s them. They’re bushed. They’ve been shooting reds and yellows all day.”
Who are the reds and yellows in his mind? Maybe the burnt siennas will start fighting with the midnight blues. Let’s get out our boxes of Crayola Crayons and find the other colors that are fighting each other.
No doubt unlike Ray Moore’s experience in life, the neighborhood I live in is about half “yellow.” Even worse, immigrants. I haven’t noticed them fighting with anyone. Mostly they have well maintained property, take their kid with them to vote, and have little kids who usually look pretty happy and who grow up to be quite nice teenagers who then go to college and often get advanced degrees.
Seriously. GOP is all troubled by Moore right now, but when he wins primary, every one of them, from Trump, Pence, Ryan and McConnell on down, will endorse him against Jones, rather than take an L and stand for decency.
Stuff that would offend Roy Moore and his tight ass segregationist sensibilities. I am thinking stuff you could witness during the After The Halloween Parade -Parade at Christopher St/Sheridan Square, back when the Parade was kind of a local thing.
