So…they leaped into the fray without a freakin’ CLUE what it was all about or what the states were ACTUALLY trying to outlaw by adding the ‘bathroom law’ to legislation and now that they see how STUPID they were they are reconsidering it? Oh yeah. Tell me once again about how ‘sane’ local government is…
This is a small bore approach. It won’t reverse the fact they’re still Alabama.
Nobody wants to get into a pissing contest. (Boys–even late blooming boys–would win.)
Yeah, see, enforcement is kind of an issue, isn’t it? I mean, are there going to be trained and armed junk-checkers at every public bathroom door? Will the TSA become the Transgender See-down-yer-pants Authority? Will there be some kind of training for these TSA folks who inspect the geniitalia of every single person who uses a public restroom? Will this new TSA leave stickers or flyers inside yer pants when they’ve done their inspection, like the other TSA at the airport? Can rich people get RFID chips installed to beat the line? There’s just a lot of questions that need answering.
They finally figured out that if Granny took her 3 year old grandson into the ladies they would have to arrest the 3 year old?
Barney Fife on patrol.
Discussing repealing the ignorant law is not the same as repealing it. Just as in NC I expect these holier than thou types to dig their heals in.
Wait, what? They’re reconsidering a laughably unenforceable law that’s based on ignorance and a transparent attempt at being huge assholes to a minority group?
Pretty progressive for Alabama. I’m impressed.
I wish Republicans could figure out whether they want decisions made at the local level or the state level, once and for all.
Because when Charlotte does it, the state of NC has to pass emergency legislation.
I know…I know…the answer is whatever level Repubs get what they want.
Whatever the outcome, just be sure to wipe:

Or two ply: (luxurious & classy…feels right. holds a lot.)

(Of course, it’s Alabama, so corn cobs are acceptable.)
Alabama must be the most regressive state in the south… and thats saying a lot. A land that time forgot.
It’s a stiff competition with Mississippi though.
They don’t want any pictures made public of men standing by the womens bathroom door .
