Is there any group he hasn’t deeply offended yet?

Buehler?

Yet, they stood back as Netanyahu inserted himself into the 2012 election and then abetted him as he worked hand in hand with GOP to try to derail Iran deal .

Time long past for apologies.

The man is a real estate hustler skilled in working the crowd, selling his name, snookering Goober and working the stenographer/sheeple of the MSM.

The AIPAC response is a burst of reality away from the confines of the MSM Bubble.

Not surprising in the least that the loathsome (and demonstrably false) ad hominem attacks were cheered by THAT group. Most of them are Netanyahu’s Amen Chorus of Israel Firsters. Just as the Republican Party was taken over by far right wing, racist extremists, so has Israel’s government been and thus its rubber stamp, AIPAC.

Trump: I don’t understand, I will conquer middle east and give a small portion of it free to Israel. I just want the Jews in US to vote for me. My future jewish granddaughter would approve of it.

"We are disappointed that so many people applauded

That applause possibly did as much damage to US/Israel relations as this past summer’s Bibi circus.

I’m trying to visualize The First Mrs. Trump as a bubbe, and the image won’t come together

I don’t

I guess good for AIPAC. I guess. They were A-OK with John Boehner openly plotting with the Prime Minister to try and humiliate that President they “deeply respect”.

Guess Trump was just a little too…obvious for them.

This would be the inevitable result of every single state visit and other function that a President Trump attended. Good thing this will never happen.

Trump’s comments seem pretty innocuous given the stage and recent history of relations between President Obama and Bibi, which AIPAC has played as Bibi’s handmaiden. It’s almost passé anymore for groups to be apologizing for Trump’s remarks. Every group who hosts Trump knows his platform, the things he says, and how easily he lobs verbal firebombs in every direction. Stop the bullshit apologies and own your relationship.

You get no argument from me on that. Perhaps, after the Iran Deal fiasco, they’re seeing that the state of political relations with the US could potentially get worse if they don’t play their cards right. Pres. Obama has made it clear he won’t simply fall blindly in line with Israel and I don’t think that former SoS Clinton would either.

While that is the most appropriate response, I think AIPAC is just trying to stay relevant. And I don’t think they trust the Donald.

I like the “Come Together” sign on the podium. Makes me think of the Beatles song. “Got to be a joker he just do what he please.”

What an embarrassing rebuke. And timely as well.

That’s what I thought… no way to spin well “very, very badly,” “the worst thing that ever happened,” and other childish, simplistic expressions coming from that guy’s mouth.

I understand AIPAC’s distress over the consequences of inviting Trump to speak before them. I once tossed a starving wolverine over a neighbor’s fence just as they were having a backyard children’s birthday party. All the blood and gore and cries of panic and agony took me quite by surprise.
