Remember in “The Godfather” when Vito tells Michael how to spot the traitor in the family organization?

Watch for anyone who opposes this probe, they are the traitors in our midst.

“Listen, whoever comes to you to oppose this investigation, he’s the traitor. Don’t forget that.”

We’ve reached a logical conclusion here, whether anyone realizes or acknowledges it yet or not.

THEY HAVE NO OPTION BUT A COVER-UP!

At which level(s), is yet to unfold.

But count on it.

cover-up is already clearly underway at the campaign level, probably underway at the Executive administration level, but will it go all the way to the Congressional level?

Or did it cross ALL those lines so long ago, that we are in deeper manure than we ever imagined?

Is there even a class of patriots left ANYWHERE in the Republican Party, in the wake of Donald Trump?

Or has it driven them all over the edge of their own lofty cliffs of hypocrisy?

Owning both chambers and the White House makes them responsible, one way or another.

They have no one to blame but themselves now.

Odds are that a large % of the information has already been wiped or hit the shredder and burn bags.

It’s time for a special prosecutor. Now. If Clinton’s blowjob was worthy of a $40M investigation, certainly this is.

@jep07–“THEY HAVE NO OPTION BUT A COVER-UP!”

Probably true. But repeatedly in history, it the cover-up, not the crime, that is the fatal blow to the criminals.

How likely is it that the Senate Intel Committee would be taking this step if Comey had told them, “Nah, there’s nothing to it. Just some innocent phone calls with birthday wishes and condolences”?

And then comes this bombshell this afternoon in the NYT about more chicanery with regards to the criminal enterprise of Team Trump and his Russian loving associates.

A secret plan to end sanctions with Russia by blackmailing the Ukrainian President.

This really keeps getting worse.

It really is bad. Putin really wants eastern Ukraine, if not all of it, and he’s got separatists in eastern Ukraine working for him just like he had separatists in Montenegro working for him and trying to stage a coup there last October. They failed, but that’s Montenegro.

Ukraine he wants much worse since it’s on his border.

Yay, hold notice. First thing you’ve gotten right, Senate Intel Committee. Later, subpeonas. Nixon was impeached for defying them (Article 3), ref.: http://watergate.info/impeachment/articles-of-impeachment.

The most expensive blowjob in history!

That’s what I’m counting on. Of course they think they’re clever enough to cover it up, and so they’ll dig themselves deeper.

Trump, his family, and all of his campaign people are absolutely untrustworthy on this. The GOP Senate and House Majorities are very suspect if you ask me. The people will have to be extremely vigilant. I still remember how Orrin Hatch did his absolute best to subvert the investigation and give Oliver North wet kisses and tongue baths. And Henry Hyde, the miserable bastard who then had the fucking shameless fuerza de cara as is said in Spanish, to lead the impeachment of Bill Clinton, after the partisan GOP Iran-Contra committee members wailed the entire investigation about how the country could not afford for Reagan’s presidency to be “fractured” so soon after Nixon’s.

But Clinton was a Democrat. An America-hating librul. So it made sense to spend any amount of money to investigate him - and his wife - as many times as possible. But to spend it on trump and the GOP, who are doing nothing but trying to MAGA after all the damage dems and libruls have done? That would be so unfair. Very, very unfair! And all based on the very, very fake media? (And it’s true, someone gave me information that they’re very fake.) No way!
