Where are the pro life republicans in Texas and Arizona who are always lecturing about the sanctity of life? Will they turn their giant churches into shelters for kids? Will they put their money where their mouths are?

When people flee horrible and untenable conditions or send their children out into the world alone anywhere else in the world, aren’t they normally referred to as “refugees”?
This is a disaster in the making.
Housing that many youth in such conditions creates a breeding ground for interpersonal abuse and/or exploitation.
Look at all the historical problems we’ve had at juvenile detention centers, orphanages, children’s homes, etc.
The Mayor should talk to Sara Palin. As a Christian, she has plenty of good clothes to donate.
