After reading the explanations from Zeldin and the other experts, I’d call Butina an asset, but in the past I have called her both a spy and an agent. Of course, we don’t yet know her full story, but I’m thrilled she connects the NRA with the Russians.

Butins was lobbying officials and influencers on behalf of Russia… For this to be legal, she had to register. She did not. All of this is already known. She’s already looking at years of jail time even if she wasn’t trying to spy out military secrets.
