Those against abortion have their religious and moral beliefs favored so women can be denied the right to health care using their own different religious and moral beliefs. It’s outrageous.
This is another example of how selective religious favoritism resulting in convoluted compromises (better than nothing - see soldier’s wives unable to get abortions covered even if the fetus will not survive) burden people. Even if in the end, coverage exists, it burdens the women involved.
Selectively. People are most upset because women’s health is hurt as well as their right to make private choices. As they should. But, there is another angle here and it concerns me too.
