When China is able to buy soybeans from another country at a lower cost, that market will be gone or seriously smaller. They -farmers- voted for a man who had numerous bankruptcsies including a casino. Banks quit lending him money. This was all known prior to the election. Trump may bankrupt farmers and the rest of the country. Surprise, surprise.
Something that needs to be explained more frequently is that it isn’t only China and possibly the EU that are players in this game. Mexico is an important customer for our pork and dairy products (30% of CA’s production and CA is the leading dairy state) and they’ve put in tariffs in retaliation for drumpf being a perforated anus. And Canada is also in this game as well.
