Water wet. Fire hot.
Attorney General Lynch is a person of the highest integrity, Republican protestations aside.
If there was a case to be had, she would have prosecuted.
I think she addresses a House committee next week. She’s going to walk all over them if they come at her.
#Priceless. I’m sure more republican heads will be exploding during the dinner hour.
I was just discussing the Comey diatribe yesterday, wherein he rebuked Clinton, with Mrs, Von Holst. He’s getting some flack from some of his peers and from lawyers for not keeping his mouth shut. Now, neither of us are lawyers, but we think this was a blatant disregard of due process as Comey’s editorializing was completely one-sided. If there ever was any case for charges to be made, it seems to me that he’s now completely prejudiced it. And his statement about the 100 and some odd “classified” emails now has AP calling Hillz a liar without any real context. Hillary always has claimed that she wasn’t aware, to the best of her knowledge, that classified emails were handled. But if questioned, Comey can always fall back on, if all else fails, “I can’t talk about them, they’re classified.” In tomorrow’s hearing, I’m hoping that the Dems on the committee have a chance to get their chops in. Comey has “some splainin’” to do.
Another strong woman stands strong. Case closed, nothing left to see here. Move along. Now, let’s get back to police officers slaughtering innocent young black men.
Most people already have an opinion, one way or the other, and this decision won’t change it.
Those who had no opinion, obviously didn’t care enough to follow the story closely. I suspect they’ll see the non-prosecution, and accept it as the final verdict.
The media, however, has a need to keep the game close. It’s turning into a blowout, and that’s just not good for ratings. Not to mention, some of them are charter members of the Clinton Derangement Club.
More negative stories about Hillary, without getting her side, is what I unfortunately expect.
he’s got you ralph. in the future they will call it “the comey catch-22 D”.
This must be bribery since she accepted the McCain and Romney donating FBI Director recommendations of not to bring charges against Clinton for not breaking the law. Or something.
Just remember, if someone emailed the New York Times article on the classified drone program to Sec. Clinton, she would have “information that is classified at the time of the email” on her hard drive using the Comey standard, even though the entire world can read the New York Times article on the classified drone program for themselves.
HUH? i don’t think that will fly in a court of law. (please don’t cite me, i ain’t no fucking lawyer).
Republican outrage over Sec. Clinton’s private server is touching.
Probably the first time in history they’ve championed government regulation over privatization.
Still, it’s a start…
I’m sure neither Director Comey nor Attorney General Lynch are taking into account the specific accusations of whatever fucking Republican House Committee has made. If so she would have been in Guantanamo for this election season.
this has been a fun news day. hasn’t it?
My bad. I didn’t include the snark tag to indicate I was riffing on the rhetorical face-plant Trump made yesterday in response to the no criminal charges news.
And, I suspect, it would have led to an indictment much sooner.
I find it hard to believe HRC would have received the kind of support she’s gotten if there was a reasonable chance she’d be indicted. Why would establishment types, a la the DNC and gee, the President, align themselves with her if they really thought she’d go down in flames in mid campaign?
That would be a bigger disaster than Trump’s pitiful campaign has been thus far. Gotta take a dig at that dumbass whenever possible.
I would still like to hear one Republican mention the 22 million White House emails that went missing from the private RNC servers the Bush White House was using, or that Colin Powell has still not turned over any of his emails even though he used private email accounts to send “classified” information. I mean, it’s not like they or Powell in particular, mislead the public into invading Iraq or anything.
i give it a 10 in the face plant competition. gold medal stuff.
Oh come on now, they have been trying for decades to regulate women’s uteruses and your behavior in the bedroom with a consenting adult(s).
